Sports Minister M S Gill on Saturday denounced the SMS game introduced in the Indian Premier League in which fans make ball by ball predictions for cash prizes and said it amounts to gambling. The game has been widely criticised by cricket experts and the Board of Control for Cricket in India has been accused of promoting betting through it.
